My wife Katrina and I have chosen to raise our family of five children in the same district I grew up in. As a father, devoted husband, and business owner, I understand the importance of building a prosperous and safe city for future generations.

I am running for city council because I have reached a point where my experience and energy can be focused on Huntington’s most pressing issues. The elephant in the room is the drug and homelessness problem, and I don’t think enough is being done to remedy the situation. Too much is being asked of business owners who live and operate inside city limits, as they are forced to lock the doors of their businesses during operating hours. This is unacceptable and must be rectified not only with deep compassion, but also with fervent accountability.

Now is the time to capitalize on our strengths, identify our weaknesses, prioritize our efforts and implement solutions that make our community safer and more economically viable. I hope my influence on city council will lead to a more prudent, judicious, and fortuitous city of Huntington.
